TruckTopping suggestions?

I am trying to setup a trucktopping system for my laser. I have a small Toyota pickup with camper cab. I'd like to figure out a rack that can attach to the camper top in the back, however it is smooth on top and has rounded edges. I thought perhaps I could put a rack over the cab of the truck which should work like a normal vehicle and then use styrofoam padding just resting on the camper top? I am concerned about the security of this idea though. Any suggestions?

make sure that the boat is also secured to the truck bed. so that you're actually strapping the boat to the truck and the cap just happens to be in middle. if you only secure to the cap, and the boat starts to lift from wind pressure. it will rip the cap and boat right of the truck.
