track for SF over rip-rap?

We have a rack for a pair of SF. The problem is getting the boats over the 3' stack of rock at the edge of the beach. I was thinking of a ladder-shaped track made out of pvc and a hand winch to move the boats up and down the track. Anyone do anything like this?
 
alright, I built this track out of 10 ft drain pipe and I could pull the boat up the incline over rocks fairly easily. Next step is a winch.View attachment 7306

I have some questions about this bunk system. I notice the post is years ago are you still available to talk about this project?
