Super sunfish spars?

Is it the same spars as a Laser? I.E. Would I be able to drop a laser mast into the mast step?

No, not even close. The mast hole in a sunfish is much smaller in diamer than a Laser's, so the Super rig had a much thinner mast than a Loser. BB

I like experimentation: are you seeking to put the Laser mainsail on a Sunfish, or to put Super Sunfish main and spars only on a Sunfish?

You could do the former (and maybe the latter) by sleeving the mast internally with one or two aluminum tube sleeves inside the bottom of the mast.

Actually, I have a sailfish that I was looking to have fun with. I was thinking about putting the new Rooster 8.1 sail on it. That's the "Big Boy" laser sail.

But that's only if I can't sell both of my sailfish, and I fall into some money.
