Sitting Low in Water

I've been sailing all summer and just recently noticed that when looking at other sunfish moored near mine, they seem to be "floating" on the water, or put another way, mine seems to be sitting a little low compared to the others. Should I be concerned? Thanks

If your boat is sitting lower in the water than others, you are probably taking on water. Bring the boat to shore, unscrew the drain hole on the starboard side of the deck and tip the boat on its side. My guess is that quite a bit of water is going to come out. If so, you have a leak somewhere that you need to plug. Search this site for "leak test" and proceed accordingly.
