Products for the gel coat

What product do people use to restore the gel coat gloss after using wet and dry on the hull? (after using wet and dry, the area where i sanded become matte and not glossy)
I've heard people use 3M Super Duty Rubbing Compound, is this good to use or is there something else i should use.

Follow that with a polish like 3m Finesse II or similar - that will bring the gloss back
