Yes, I used it most of last season. It works like a charm. A little expensive, but hassle free. It slides along the boom easily and the hook does not let go. I will use it again.

If past years are any indication, that's not going to get approved for this year's sailing season in North America though..

Also, we've heard comment on how well it works in heavy air, but what about it's added weight and the effect on the leech in very light air offwind work ?


Regarding the Dorsal product, from the pics, it looks like the clew is sitting up higher (at least 2cm) then it would with a strap directly thru the clew. Can anybody using one confirm that ?
