I've been looking at a laser online, but it's a really ugly brown color. I read up on changing the color and found that a few people had good results using an automotive paint over the gelcoat. Does anyone know if this actually lasts/works or have any better ideas? Thanks

I used some one part Interlux from West Marine. 2nd season with it now and other than a few scrapes it still looks great.

Wow, it looks great! Did you brush or spray and how much did you end up using?

Thanks :) Sprayed 3 coats and 1 Qt just made it with roughly 10% thinning.

Same color but used Perfection. It's harder than Brightside. More expensive but should last longer. Keep in mind both are Topside paints and will blister if left in water for extended time.
