Old Style Cunningham

Still got the old style rigging, tried rigging everything last night.

The cunningham line has a loop tied in it, but couldn't work out if this was to use as a pulley system or just to pull on to increase purchase

Anyone got a diagram to show how it might e used.

It's currently rigged as follows, tied off at vang, looped up through sail eyelet, then down through deck fairlead (is that the right word ?), then into the deck cleat

I re-rigged my old Cunningham by following a diagram from Dick Tillman's "The Complete Book of Laser Sailing." The diagram also includes ways to re-rig old vangs and outhauls. The new system works great and saves you the money of a complete refit.
