New to this!

My 12 year old son was just given a Laser sailboat and is totally excited! He has served as a youth crew member on the Tall Ship Elissa from Galveston, Texas. He loves to sail and be on the water. We have always had boats but never a sailboat! We think his Laser has everything but the top sections of the mast. How many sections are there and where can we get the parts he needs to fix up his Laser? It was damaged in a hurricane. Any help given will be greatly appreciated!

There are only two sections to the mast. The top section can be purchased by itself for those unfortunate incidents in which they get damaged.

I have recently restored a 1982 Laser and needed some things (like a new sail) to get it ready for the water. The prices are good for the things you need, unless you will be racing and need all Laser Class approved equipment, then you will have to go elsewhere for parts. The top mast section is a good price, but when shipped it is considered oversized and will shipped by ground (from RI) and will cost a bit. You can e-mail them for a quote on shipping b4 it is sent.
