New foil opinion

    Welp.... Hard to say as I've yet to sail near other boats....but my "brain" wants to think my "custom" daggerboard was a decent improvement. At 50" in length now, I did touch bottom twice...lightly....no damage!!...as our lake is drawn down 5 ft to winter pool stage. So what was 8 ft in the summer us now 3!! I know Ky Lake fairly well however and the major shoal areas. No chatter and thats a plus and it did seem to tack better and not want to stall. Only 10 kts of wind so not a real test. Anxious to compare to the Intensity board I just got too.
    More later after another sail or two. But I think I made a winner and will probably shave down the trailing edge more as well. What the heck....!
