My boat was a 1997, but I had a sail that I bought off of a friend that she never used and I never got around to changing the numbers...lazy.

Why buy a new boat if its a one design class, why not just upgrade parts? After all all laser hulls are suposed to be the same rite?

Nope, its not a 200,000. The reason I decided to go new was that my boat was starting to get "soft" in places, and it was time to be replaced if I wanted to remain competitve

It's got to be getting close to 200,000 isn't it. Weren't the '07 boat upward of 193,000?

hell no. newest boat I know of is a 196. they most likely got into 197's now.

Boats delivered in Australia are in the 192200's, a kid at our club has just got one. Other charter boats for Sail Melbourne were in the 192600s

I wonder who will get the 200,000 one I suppose some top Laser managers will keep it...
The bet production will increase because of the 08 champs at Terrigal.
By the way does this mean that after the champs a lot of those Lasers are for sale ? Anyone got one after a champs ?
