Minifish dolly/trailer?

Hi- I just bought a Minifish for my kids. It's a great boat that's been in storage for most of it's life. Now, we need to figure out how to get it down the street to the water without using a road trailer. I'd say it's about 1/4 mile of paved neighborhood road. Traffic isn't a big issue but I'm not sure I'd want to use my canoe/kayak wheels for that distance. Has anyone tried modifying a bicycle trailer for something like this? I think I've seen one design or modified for a cyclist to pull a canoe but can't remember where.

For a useful response, it would be good to know whether this would be a one time/year task or after every sail.

I see your point. This would be for every sail. The lake directly across the street isn't good for sailing so the kids would need to go to the other one in our sub but we can't keep boats there overnight. I don't think canoe carts with small diameter tires would work well.
