There certainly has to be some sort of group that races in the Chesapeake Bay, the closer to Annapolis the better, unfortunately, I cannot seem to find them. Anyone have any clues or contact info, I would be grateful!

Typically, Sunfishers around the Chesapeake Bay area meet/race several times a year:

  • Lake of the Woods Regatta (last wk in April in N VA)
  • Byte/Sunfish/Capri shootout in early May at the Wash Sailing Marina (WSM; Alexandria, VA)
  • Rock Hall Summer One-Design Regatta (mid-June, Eastern Shore)
  • Corsica River Annual Regatta (last wk of July, also on the Eastern Shore)
  • President's Cup at the WSM (this past Saturday)
The Rehoboth Bay Sailing Club has Sunfish regattas around Independence and Labor Day.
