Light Board

I was wondering how a light board/number plate can be attached to a laser being towed, I have a trolley & road base system, and don't know how to attach it. Should I just lash it on with some rope?

Any help would be appreciated!

Why not try running something through the gudgeons and tie it around them?

Put a set of gudgeons on the light board and set it up that you can just drop a 3/8 bold through the gudgeons on the hull and light board. If you set it correctly, there is no need to tie the light board on and depending upon the road rules you can cut the light board so it doesn't extend beyond the sides of the boat. In addition, you can put a set of gudgeons on the trailer and so there is no issue towing the trailer when the boat isn't on the trailer.
