Here's some photos of the sailors in my regatta at my club. It was the first year for the regatta and we had 12 boats. It was a fine day of sailing in Ohio with winds 10-15 mph gusting to 25. It wasn't one of my better sailing days, but we had a blast with six races and lots of good food and talk about sailing afterwards. Merrily/Janet

The area is really beautiful and I love to go there. Of course, the pix were taken in the morning, before the wind picked up and made things interesting. The start boat is a pontoon boat that one of our members installed a foolproof system on. Just push a button and the 5 minute countdown begins, marking each minute with a loud beep and then a ten second countdown at the start. It immediately begins the countdown for the next fleet.
