    Hi guys,
Just wondering what makes a Laser Radial different than a Standard. I know the sail size is smaller but is that the only difference? I mean, if i had a standard would i just have to switch out the sails and whammo!? I guess i could look it up but i'm too lazy i guess.
    Thx!

You also need a Radial bottom mast (which is shorter). Other than that (and the sail), it's all the same.

If you have an original design Standard sail, then even the battens are the same. The Mark II Standard has different battens which you can't put in a Radial sail.

All of the above applies to the 4.7 rig as well, except you need a longer outhaul line for the 4.7 as the foot is 260 mm shorter.
