Laser Bailer trouble

class rule state you can't alter laser bailer shape.
I have trouble keeping the leading edge (wider section)
flush with the bottom surface of the hull. keeps sticking up!
I've been debating filing/sanding the edge of the bailer flush to bottom!
anyone have any ideas?
