Laser 2 Spinnaker Retrieval Grommet

I called a few sailmakers about spinnaker retrieval gromets/attachment points being added to a turtle-bag-only equipped spinnaker, and they said it was only an hour of labor, so it sounds easy to do, possibly with just normal knowledge of sewing? (all the local sailmakers have a long waiting list) Is there a kit/patch for adding these? If so, does anybody know the positions to put them for a Laser 2?

I got both of mine done for 40 bucks at my loft, or maybe it was 20, i dont remember and give them way too much work. mine are close to where the middle color panel is.
 
are they complicated to install? all the places around here have long wait lists, so i'd rather do it myself, if possible.
 
i think its one of those things that is a lot easier if you have the stuff.

some guys have two 6" long straps on the inside of the chute, and sew them in a X
