After six races were held, a familiar team was standing atop the podium—Ignazio Bonanno’s LA SUPERBA from the Italian Navy. Sailing with him for this regatta were Simone Scontrino, Francesco Picaro, Ciccio Linares and Alfredo Branciforte. In the end, they pumped out four firsts and two seconds for the victory. The National Regatta was organized by the Circolo della Vela di Roma on behalf of the FIV and in collaboration with the Anzio section of the LNI, the Reale Circolo Canottieri Tevere Remo and Marina Capo d’Anzio. Behind LA SUPERBA on the podium were ARPIONE in second place (with Panfilo Del Beato Corvi, Italo Paulini, Michele Potenza, Adolfo Cipelli and owner Luca Silvestri) and PELLE ROSSA (with Gianni Riccobono, Claudio Dainelli, Sergio Strippoli, Marina Crocioschi and Paolo Astore).
