Hull Repair

Large gash through side of hull starboard bow. Problem is that it is only about 1-2 inches from the hull/deck seam...Ideas on best way to fix?

That's a nasty one. This guy did something similar on an outside corner ( http://minifish-restoration.blogspot.com ) About half way through the Blog blah blah blah the hull repair pictures and text begin to appear. You are going to need to pull a multi-layer patch against the inside in the same way. Check out the WEST fiberglass repair videos on You-Tube.

Get a good book – these vids just gloss over the job and not all the steps will fit your repair exactly.
