help! thievery! i can't sail!

hi everyone, i'm new to the forum, glad i found it.

recently someone swiped from my boat the bracket that holds the rudder to the transom. they were nice enough to leave behind the rudder, but i need that bracket! i've been to all the marine stores around and no one can help me. does anyone know where i can buy this or a similar part?

i would GREATLY appreciate any help or advice.

Sorry to hear about your loss.

Try calling Catalina Yachts at (818) 884-7700 and asking for "parts department." I have not used them recently, but two years ago they were able to provide the parts I was looking for.

Good luck catching the person who took your part and in ording a new one.
