Until there's a lull, then the boat will capsize on top of me lol.
I have very long legs, so my body is way out there. I can probably stay straight legged for most of the upwind leg. The race usually goes for about an hour and we do two laps. Can somebody do the math for me? I donno, maybe 15 minutes straight per lap.
Jelly Legged Laser sailer here,
It must be nice to be young and light..... I can hike out for the leg... but true straight leg max hike is tough and I die after about 5 minutes or so.... but at 205, five minutes straight is seldom needed... wind is always varying and so does my hiking style with the wind.... sometimes bent... sometime straight... roll forward down the wave and load the back leg and lean back when going up, rolling in with the lulls and rolling out with the gusts... just working the boat.
I keep telling my self to build a torture rack..... I'm mean hiking bench. One of these days....
