Depowering the sail

Hello,

I have the old type of setup for the laser. This means that my outhaul is fixed and cannot be adjusted during the sail. How do I workout the setting of my kicker and cunningham to start depowering the sail on a reach, beat and run and then how much I can depower with kicker and cunningham. I was thinking that maybe telltales may help me if the right part of the sail is being affected. Your advice is appreciated.
