I was wondering if anyone had a method or mixture of something to getting mold and dried on dirt off of laser sails. Any suggestions are welcomed.
Thanks,

For mold/mildew - use a mix or household bleach/water, mix it one to one (or grab some a spray bathroom cleaner with bleach in it) You will NOT harm the dacron material in the sail with bleach, but keep it away from the 2" webbing on the head of the sail - if you get some on there, rinse it off asap. After the mold/mildew has been killed, rinse the area with water..

Hit the mold spots with that - you should see them change from black to lt brown right away, in a few minutes they should be gone.

For the dirt, some liquid dishwashing soap/water and a soft bristle brush or even a sponge will loosen the surface dirt....

Let the sail dry completely before folding it up again, or else the mold/mildew will return. A good trick for storing in really humid condition is to put the sail in the bag and then spray some Lysol in the bag before storing...
