I'm new to sailing, and new to the Capri...
I understand that a bungee attaches to the "D" ring on the top of the center board, clipping at the transom. This is the tie-down or hold-down line.
However, I have a line at the front of the cockpit, running through a pulley arrangement, and extending past the centerboard where it is secured. It is obviously associated with the centerboard. Is this a means to pull up the centerboard? How should it be rigged?
Can you reference a clear rigging procedure and/or picture of proper rigging?
Thanks,
Rick
