Nobody knows of course. If the carbon upper gets approved (and that's a big if), it might become available in 2013 (after the Olympics). Considering that the composite carbon upper might offer advantages, it would be priced higher than the aluminum one. No need for a business degree to figure that out.
But don't hold your breath until that happens...
