I was looking for suggestions single handing in moderate wind with a jib. Is it advisable to do this or should i just stick with the main on the 15 kt days? Thanks

This may be a bit overly-simplistic, but sometimes the simple stuff bites you in the rear. Put a Figure 8 knot on the ends of your jib sheets so that you don't lose them from the cleat all together.
Hmm, thank you all, this is great advice.
@azrick
I had noticed that it sailed a lot better under the power of the jib.
Is the jib a less precise sail? Can it be set for one tack and tolerate a lot of course changing?
Ahh, yeah that makes sense. I will fly the jib next time I single hand. Unfortunately I live in the NW so I have to wear a wetsuit to prepare for swimming.
