AMF Flying Fish info?

A friend has a flying fish in his backyard. I don't know anything about this boat. before I saw his I had never heard of it. I have found minimal info on the internet and I was wondering if anyone knew how these boats sailed. It appears to have an huge fiberglass mast. It is also very wide and flat. I'm wondering if it is faster downwind than a Laser. Also, I'd like to find some pictures of this boat under way.

Here are the Portsmouth basic ratings for the Flying Fish, Sunfish, and laser

Flying Fish FFSH 99.4

Laser(Intl) LASE 91.1

Sunfish (Intl) SF 99.6
 
Wow, that is hard to belive. It would seem that the flying fish has a bigger, more efficient sailing rig than the sunfish, but then again there is a bigger wetted surface and a heavier boat.
 
But, back when the Flying fish came out the Sunfish rating was 108. Remember that was with a Ratsey flat sail and the old shadow dagger board.
The Sunfish has evolved, the FlyingFish hasn't.
