The 2009 Pacific Coast Championship for Standard and Radial rigs was held July 17-19 with racing at Cascade Locks in the Columbia River Gorge. Hosted by the Columbia Gorge Racing Association, the PCC's was the culmination of a week's worth of sailing, starting with the District 6 Championship the weekend of July 11-12, followed by a three day racing clinic put on by Brendan Casey, then the famous Laser Blowout - an 18 mile downwind race from Cascade Locks to Hood River - then the PCC's.
