I have a sunfish with the hardware shown in the image on the deck, obviously for a mainsheet block. I'm having a hard time finding a block and shackle that will fit in this 'base'. Does anyone recognize this fitting and can direct me to a block that was likely part of the fitting, but did not come with the sunfish? thank you for any insight you may have!

That’s the Harken 010. Takes basically any Harken block with a swivel head and 5 mm pin (no shackle needed).

Thank you so much both for the information and especially the quick reply. I was able to find an appropriate Harken block on eBay and plan to be sailing away soon!!!
