Has anyone bought and used a Mobi mat to roll boat and trailer to water?

We are on a tidal bay with a hundred feet of sand between where we put boat and the water. It’s a little hard to roll trailer to water, and getting harder every year as we get even older. Saw online the website for mobi mat and wondered if that was something to consider. Or perhaps someone has a less expensive idea for me?

It’s over softish sand, about 30-40 feet. We are on a tidal bay so we need to pull boat pretty far up most of the time.

500 pound capacity utility cart. (3-wheel).

John Deere, Greenworks, others

(Keyboard isn't working after getting wet).

Since you don’t want to spend $2000 on a Mobi mat, you could buy a huge roll of chicken wire. It might be enough to let the dolly roll more easily.

If this sandy area abuts your property, you could attach an electric winch to something solid.

Powered? Never knew possible. Please say more.
Marinas have electric motors on two-wheeled "tractors" to move heavy trailers around their yards. Something similar is used by big box stores to return their shopping carts to the stores in long "trains"

The former "tractors" have to be modified to replace the ball mount--or modify your dolly with the corresponding hitch.

Looks like you are at the end of South Harbor Rd. If so, that is a trek to the water. Is the yacht club an option for an easier in and out? No idea what the cost would be for that, but lots of sunfish there.

How close to the water can you drive your vehicle? (Assuming you own that waterfront).

Could you nail enough 2x4s lengthwise to extend your "reach"? (Alternating them to prevent excessive bending).

But it’s still hard to pull up after sailing because there’s an incline.
Is the incline a relatively short distance because it starts at the water's edge and is part of the channel I see in the picture and then flattens out as you get further from the water? As in, during a very low tide the incline is at its longest and steepest? Or is the incline the entire 100 foot distance?

No. Near goose creek beach. not a yacht club member.

No, incline is 100 feet give or take. Runs whole length.
