The 35th annual Elvstrom Regatta, serving as the District 24 Championships, is underway with 16 Standards and 11 Radials racing along the San Francisco City Front. The breeze this weekend is being affected by a late season weather system, racing on saturday saw an uncharacteristicaly light 8-12 average with brief periods both above and below. The direction is from the south making some interesting racing as the fleet sails crosswise to the current. Two races were held saturday, for the current results go to the event website.
