I am looking for a drysuit for comfortable October and April Laser sailing (water temperature 3-10 C) in the Stockholm Archipelago. At the same time, I would like to be able to use the drysuite in off-shore racing, if need. What model do you recommend? is Gill's Breathable Drysuit a good option? Should it be with Front Zip or Back Zip? Any proposals on good value for money?

Just in the beginning of this year I had the same questions like you. My 25 -years old and loved drysuit from Henrilloyd was not any longer the right one for more intensive Lasersailing in this year.
Aft a long search and comparing (Quality, cost, where to get easy that new suit) I found the Goretex-Drysuit from “Dry Fashion” is a nice one. Here in Germany, I got it from my Laser-store with a "nice-price" about 550 Euro. It has a front zip and no neoprene-shoes (that´s better for dinghy-sailing where you better wear real neoprene boots - but a disadvantage for offshore sailing).
I know, some prefer the bac-zip to have more freedom in movement in the dinghy, but it could be difficult to close the back-zip-drysuit alone. Because I always wear a savety-jacket/buyoancy-aid, the front zip of my drysuit is “hidden” under that jacket and I have no problems with the zip.
I found the “Henrilloyd”-Goretex-drysuit is very much too expensive (price is about 890 Euro!!!) although is simply the best and the MPX-Drysuit from “Musto” is more for coastal-sailors (has neoprene shoes, cost about 590 Euro) than for dinghy sailing.

If the water gets in that level you mentioned (frostbite-sailing), take a microfleece bodysuit under the drysuit (HelliHansen has the best microfleece-cloth but is also expensive and has wearing between the arms of the Goretex and the fleece) and under the mircofleece wear polyamid-funtional-underwear (biking-trousers / biking-Tshirt are cheap, but the best underwear is to find here: http://www.underarmour.com/ua2/ua/gear.asp?dept_id=4&mscssid=).
