OK, my very old '72 laser had the bow eye pull out when I was trailering it a couple weeks ago. Any practical reason I can't just fill the holes and move it forward a couple inches to avoid the old holes?
Are there kits like drywall anchors that would make this attachment more robust? maybe...

No number on the sail, but a manufacturer "Elvstrom" (with umlaut). Sail bag says 'Toronto Canada' on it. I've no idea as to its original ownership, I got it from a friend to got it for 'free' when he purchased a vacation home on a small lake here in Oregon. (It's not a sailing lake really)...
Ok. Surprisingly relevant posting for me. I just got a red/white laser and the only number I've found on it is 2384. (Maybe 2334) Under the bow eye. I think that makes it a 71-72? What do you all think? Wooden rudder and centerboard...
