Christmas time sailing - Naples FL area

Hello,

I will be visiting family in Naples / Bonita area over the Christmas Holiday.

I live in Michigan and we're still sailing 'till the lake freezes (thats when the iceboats come out) but would be more than ready for warm sailing by then when I'm in town.

Any regattas I can hit ?

Any rental boats / club loaners available for a donation ?

I'll be kind to your stuff and I always get the bar tab.

Thoughts on where to go / who to contact ?

I am from Michigan too and travel to Florida right after christmas also. There is a regatta in Miami the 27-30th. The host club site is www.cgsc.org, check it out. I am racing Lightnings, but they always have quite a few Lasers also.
As for charter boats, try he people at the club, they're super nice.
