Mast part needed

I need the piece that the mast fits on to in the cockpit. Is this called a boot? Its a metal piece. Does anybody know where I can a replacement?

Sounds like you need a mast Step. Its the stainless steel "u" shaped bracket that is secured to the deck with four round head wood screws, the mast butt is through bolted to this bracket. I had to replace mine as I bent the ^%$# out of it first time taking down the mast. Was easy to replace and not horribly expensive either. CatalinaDirect.com
