We have been sailing quite a bit this season in the upper Chesapeake bay, any one out there want to get together to some sailing.

It looks like this weekend will be great sailing, 10 to 15 knots, and waves 1 to 2 ft. NOAA just dropped the small craft advisory a few hours ago. Turtle time. :p

BTT for the Chesapeake Bay folks. I can't beleive that I am the only one sailing on the Bay. BTT for the Chesapeake Bay folks.

I cannot believe that I am the only one sailing on the Bay. We have been sailing every weekend since my first post. The wind is picking up after a long hot summer. Anyone want to sail?

Haven't forgotten you

I keep meaning to get up there but have been trying to focus on sailing in Regattas. Steve from Va and I sailed in the Leukemia Cup Regatta in Alexandria, Va last Saturday. I use the word "sail" loosely since there was next to no wind. I wasn't able to finish but Steve was one of only two boats to finish before they called the race off. If you haven't done it before you should try sail in a regatta. Ther one coming up on Sept 23th and 24th in Solomon, Maryland. It's sponsored by the Southern Maryland Sailing Assoc.
There web site is www.smsa.com. Click on "smallboat"
It doesn't look like I'll make it up this year but next year for sure.
Be well and may you have favorable winds.
Bob
