I think ISAF have plenty of arm-twisting power. They "own" the class association as well as the Olympic status. Both give the possibility to say to BK: "OK you won the court case, but now we have to make this work, if not the olympic status is gone" And for those who think that losing olympic...
OK, lets say this happens. Bruce is then going to say:"those who bought a boat with the wrong sticker now own a worthless boat..... losers!" People who do not even know there was a court case or the boat had a sticker... OR is he going to say that everybody is welcome as long as the new boats...
Several 1000 boats have been made that have this plaque. So who is going to explain that you can sail this boat but not that boat beacuse of the plaque...?
ILCA can decide that bathtubs can be legally sailed in their events. Same with ISAF and the olympics. Bruce will HAVE to accept ALL lasers...
I think the construction manual is very critical. Surely this must have been given under non disclosure and has numerous statements such as "this CM may not be shared ...etc. " This means that LPE, even though they know HOW to build a laser, they cannot use this information without formal access...
1. The Oz boat will also be without Kirby sticker since the ones without Kirby will be the only ones issued by ILCA.

165 boats ready for Sweden. High stakes and high noon..
Let's say you buy a new Laser now, without the Kirby sticker. If LPE/ILCA/ISAF lose the court case the boat becomes counterfeit..? Can you then go to the dealer and get a refund? Clearly, what you bought was not fit for purpose i.e. sail in regattas? So perhaps dealers will become the bunnies in...
So what about this threat?:
Laser Dealers and Buyers Beware

We have learned that ISAF and ILCA intend to issue a New ISAF Plaque to terminated builder Laser Performance in North America and Europe. We understand the New ISAF Plaque will eliminate...
Basically no parts available in europe. No booms, top masts, sails, radial lowers of the stuff I´ve asked for. List is certainly longer. One solution in the emergency: Approve replica parts. NMOD.
Look at companies like Nautivela, Winner Optimist, Blue Blue, McLaughlin, Lange in Argentina, RS, Ovington not to mention Far East. They all make ends meet by supplying boats in much smaller numbers. The spare parts market is covered by Harken, Ronstan and Optiparts ++ and the sails to a large...
So you think this is the reason the are struggling.
What about parent company taking money out or money wasted on expensive diversification into other boats such as the Bug or trying to win in the very competitive market of making optis..? The minute quantity of replica parts is not going to...
