Don't know if you remember that I was 'doing up' a 1986 Laser that I got for Can$ 1100? Well, it is ready to sail apart from one detail ..... I need a native name to christen it with .

Thanks, this helps a lot ..... I'm also an oldie at 47 and I think it is a shame that the colour has been lost from the sport ..... maybe this is why it is not on TV ....
bring back the colour is what I say
Take it to the garage that you would normally have a vehicle safety check done ....... they will be able to give the trailer a once over and give you a safety certificate ....... this removes any doubts that the registration types might have regarding build quality. Good luck!

The cleaning is turning into a little repairing too....off to the UK next week, so I doubt that I'll be on the water till after that. keep you posted ..... I'm sure that you all want to know how many time I had to right myself !!!

I'm in the process of giving my Canadian made Laser a real good going over and my deck is a definate dirty grey. That is after cleaing it just short of it's life. I'm seriously considering painting it to give it a clean look. Mine is an 87
Hi Everyone
I've recently bought an 87 Laser with a Blue/white and Purple sail made by Fogh. Personally, I doubt that it is a real McCoy Laser legal sail, but is there any way that I can replace it with a legal sail of the same colour? Do I have to resort to a Colourful white!!
