    questions about new lasers

    I think in terms of getting a newish boat this is the best way to go. I just bought a new laser that was used for a week at the NA's in Santa Cruz, and it cost a few hundred dollars less than boats that were two or three years old.

    Yes, and no. Its all a question of center of gravity. 5lbs doesn't seem like much, but when hiking it can make a difference.
