Thanks for all the feed back. After sailing j22 j24 buc snipes ans some big boats a few ago, im very happy to be sailing in a "club" atmosphere here in CO. We can get 20+ lasers on Thur night. I have been promoting lots of boats, good competition which we have accomplished. Practice sails rock.
I sailed a 470 solo on the trap when I was young but I could never articulate what I was doing better than was already said. There is a one man skiff, "solo skiff." Check out info blogs etc you may find some additional info but what has been said is pretty dam good.
Great video, I learn more everytime I view this video, my question is why does the sailor change his weight for and aft. I dont see a change in the wave pattern that would be my simple explanation.
You just cant go wrong with the laser. Look for a boat that has both standered and radial. You will have a solid goalmto work towards, the standard. If it blows go down to the radial. Learning to sail a laser competitively is a long learning curve that you can work on untill your 80, God...
Place inspecton port than mast step repair in the search box and you will find everything you need without hearing a peep from anyone. Good luck, sail fast, and take chances.
