It was rivets, d'oh. There is a drawing of the rivets in the owners manual, no specs on them but I will figure that out.

The mast arrived!! Now what??!? I was able to get Catalina to ship a new mast to me, picked it up today in a boat yard. The spreaders are not attached--taped to the mast. No bolts or other attaching hardware that I can see. On my old mast these seemed to be something like rivets, not screws...

Our Capri 14.2 is stored at a lot with other boats and rvs. I discovered today the mast was gone!! Unbelievable, the boom was there! Anyway, now I feel doomed. We are taking the boat to Huntington Lake near Fresno on July 20th. Anyone ever replaced a mast? Can they be obtained (quickly!)...
