Zhik Hydrophobic fleece vs Microfleece

I am looking into buying some hikers later in the year before the start of the new southern hemisphere season and the zhik powerpads are looking very appealing.

Basically in Perth, Australia, I am currently wearing just a rash guard and shorts for the summer and if its windy a spray top. For winter or colder days I use a full length 3mm wetsuit and spray top.

So to get to my question, What is the difference between the Zhik Hydrophobic Fleece pants and zhik's new microfleece pants? Is it just the temperature range is larger for the microfleece as on zhik's site? The hydrophobic is much cheaper but the microfleece looks good and very light.

Any help is greatly appreciated?

both pants are shown in West Coast Sailing's site.
