What years were the Pearson hulls?

What years were the Pearson Hulls? I thought 1980, but don't know when they ended.

Basically I am seeking which hulls are the ones to avoid that were made poorly at the factory, before the owners took them.

The timeline of serial numbers and changes at Sunfish Sailors says Pearson made the Sunfish from 1988 to 1990. That’s probably the ’89 model year through the ’91 model year where the manufacturer code is PSB ( http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sunfish_sailor ). Lookup Windline’s buyer’s guide too ( http://www.windline.net/buysf.htm ). Use the search engine here in the Forum for more comments. I recall it’s not all Pearson Sunfish, just more than expected so you have to use a keen eye when evaluating one.
