Video: Trolling For Gusts In Little Harbor

On the last day of my "sailing vacation", hanging out on Little Harbor where I grew up with my 86 year old Mom, some pre-frontal southwest winds made an appearance.

These hot, humid offshore winds don't like staying attached to the cold water of high tide so the velocity varied wildly but if you positioned your boat in the right places and kept a weather eye out, there were blasts you could ride. Brought the GoPro "Hat Cam" along this time and got some good footage.

Old Red passed her final exam and will now graduate with a trip down to Chatham, Mass in October to her new home where the wind is steadier, blows harder and there are miles and miles of twisting channels and flat water reaching set ups for her to explore. And lots of Great White sharks to test her speed against!

Here's the video.
