Universal Fixing?

Is there anyway to fix this laser tiller universal or will i just have to buy another? (It's still partially attached in case the picture is a little blurry)

Assuming it's a rubber uni - If there are slits or tears in the area the red arrows point to, it should be replaced sooner then later.. It will eventually tear all the way thru, especially if it's stored with the extension left on and pushed down against the tiller. (for long life, remove the extension when storing)

Great advice there from 49208. I have lost count of the number of people I see constantly replacing ntheir UJ because they do not detach the tiller and extension when they pack up.

You can also get UJ's with a rope core. A bit more expensive, but if it does let go the rope will let you finish the race.
