Tuff Luff

Has anyone utilized a Tuff Luff on a Catalina 14.2? Would class rules allow this. How about a tacktick instead of a compass?

I used to race with a tacktic compass with no complaints for the fleet or class. Tuff luff not sure what the rules say but I see no reason to use one as its more of a big boat application.
