Transom Mod's 2

My first attempt at posting pics was feeble, so this thread's a repeat title done right! The Mod 1 has a hollow transom, needed some beefing up to handle the added stress. The motor is light and easy to use, no vibration and minimal torque forces. See the one pic where it's up high and turned sideways, that's how I keep when launching or under sail. Don't know that I would want a gas motor here. But the real stress comes from me flipping my 195 lb gut up the ladder to climb in! So with the marine plywood cut into 5" wide strips they could be fished inside to back up the outside composite board, with the hull sandwiched in between. Through bolted with stainless and secured with strong adhesive. And the Deckson plates have storage bags inside with waterproof covers, very handy indeed!
