Sunfish advertisers taunt us on purpose. Is the image reversed or did they put the spars on the wrong side? Either way it looks like they ignored the halyard block completely.

Swept daggerboard, cool! Artist conception or was this ever a thing?

1971 deck/stripe combos. They show double stripes on the red white blue boat, with red-blue-red stripes. Has anyone ever positively identified this combination on a 1971 hull?

To confuse us even more, there are blue-red-blue striped boats out there. 1982.

Don't worry, she's better now.

Oh no, I just realized the red-blue-red sail doesn't match the blue-red-blue stripes...

In that first picture, it almost looks like the halyard is going to the main sheet block, but maybe it’s going to the halyard cleat directly, since it is just in front of the splash guard?

Breeze Bender, PHOENIX did indeed arise from the ashes but WAVE's repair was even more involved.

1980 starboard bow grafted onto 1956 hull. She's had some work done...Can you imagine if we ever sold the boat, and later someone sanded WAVE down to do some gelcoat?
