After months of lurking and months of questions & posts answered, I finally got my SF in the water. I just wanted to thank everyone for their willingness to share both their time and their vast knowledge. Without this forum, and the yahoo user group, I would have never even looked at a Sunfish, let alone know how to dry out a 35 year old boat. Every time I tell people I have a Sunfish, I say it only exists because of this forum, the information it provides and the people who patiently express their opinions and knowledge to someone as green as me.

Way to go man. Hope you get to sail some other types of sailboats in the future too. I got me short list:

Butterfly
Lighting
Rhodes 18
Rhodes Bantam
Anything by Phillip Rhodes

I guess we all share a love for sailing and a Sunfish provides a good, relatively inexpensive, platform to enjoy the wind and the water.

Let's spread the love and take a youngster out, if possible...
